Modeling the missing community-wide effects from the Thibela TB trial
Emilia Vynnycky et al. recently came out with an interesting paper in the American Journal of Epidemiology which they try to understand why there were no effects of isoniazid preventive therapy (IPT) on community-wide TB incidence in the Thibela trial of IPT among South African gold miners.

Influenza A infection history and antibody response
I just came across this paper by Adam Kucharski and co. using cross-sectional antibody titer data to understand the relationship between the ordering of influenza A infections and long-term antibody response, as well as the rate of decay in cross-reactivity in neutralizing responses.
